ABOUT US

MARI J. PATTERSON

(Director) left her corporate career of ten years to pursue her passion of becoming a filmmaker.  She has always had a love for film and video production since a child. Mari has written many screenplays and has directed short films including Dear Abigail (currently on the festival circuit), Love & Drugs, Broken Mirror and also made a documentary My Secret Journey.  She recently released her newest short Murderer on the Loose Leaf in early June 2017 at the famous Crocker Art Museum of Sacramento, California.  Not only is she a director of short films, she is also a cinematographer and has been the Director of Photography for short films like Falling, Pushing Passed, and The Caretaker. She also edited the testimonial video compilation for the local Sacramento Susan G. Komen web site. Her attention to detail, using light, color, and not being afraid to tell raw stories is what speaks to audiences.
